Who we are
Mr Gallagher has been a consultant at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust since 2020. He read medicine at Imperial College, London before completing his Obstetric and Gynaecology training in the London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery in 2017. He completed advanced training modules in urogynaecology and vaginal surgery as well as open and laparoscopic benign gynaecology. He was awarded places on the prestigious BSGE/ Ethicon Advanced Laparoscopy training programme, the European Gynaecology Expert Training for Upcoming Professionals and the Master of Hysteroscopic Surgery Course. He has been robotically trained and has been undertaking robotic surgery on the Da Vinci Xi platform since 2024. He is a member of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG) and the British & Irish Association of Robotic and Gynaecological Surgeons (BIARGS). He has numerous publications and has presented at conferences at both national and international level.

How long is an appointment?
New appointments are 30 minutes and followup appointments are 20 minutes
What do I need to provide?
If you have Private Medical Insurance, please provide your
pre-authorisation number to Reception upon your arrival,
and also Kate Shields prior to your appointment.
You may be asked to provide credit/debit card details by the Hospital at check in.
How much does it cost?
Depending on the appointment type you require, the cost of a consultation with us will vary.
Initial Consultation - £250
Follow-up Consultation - £200
You will receive an invoice for this following your appointment.
Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, a cancellation fee of £75
for an Initial Consultation, and £25 for a Follow-up Consultation may be charged.
Following your consultation you may need certain tests (such as blood tests or imaging) to help
diagnose your condition. If the test is undertaken by the clinic or hospital, and not by us,
the fees for those tests will be determined by the clinic or hospital and charged to you,
or your private medical insurer, separately.
If there are additional fees as a result of additional procedures carried out by us,
such as cervical smears, ring pessary insertion, biopsies etc, then we will let you know
what the additional charge will be. Your insurer usually covers these fees.
If you are self-funding, please inform us in advance.
